About Me.
I am a graduate of Calgary Catholic Schools and a proud parent of Calgary Catholic school graduates. After obtaining my post- secondary education I was very fortunate to be able to stay home for several years with my children. During this time I was able to volunteer in the schools and on school councils. For the last 15 years I have been working for Calgary Catholic. My experiences as a student, parent and employee of Calgary Catholic has given me a real insight to every aspect of Catholic education which I feel is a real asset to have as your next school trustee. It has also shown me the lasting impact of faith based education in shaping strong, caring, and capable young people.
Working for Calgary Catholic has truly been a blessing for me. Seeing the students grow not only physically and academically but spiritually as well is truly a blessing that is only achieved by faith-based schools. One of my favorite memories is teaching the sacraments in the school and seeing how excited the students were on achieving these milestones. We are one of only three provinces to have publicly funded Catholic schools. While the right to publicly funded Catholic education is entrusted in our constitution we need to make sure we do not lose this right as Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador lost these rights through a constitutional amendments.

I am running for Catholic School Board Trustee in Wards 13 & 14 to represent families, support our hard working teachers, strengthen Catholic values, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn in a supportive, faith filled environment. With responsible leadership and a commitment to transparency, I will work to keep Catholic education strong for today’s students and future generations.
